Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: March 2026
That's Just Peri is a real business, and like most content sites, it earns income through affiliate partnerships. Here's exactly how that works — because you deserve to know.
The Short Version
Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That income helps keep this site free and lets me keep writing.
Every product on this site has been personally used, vetted for quality, and run through a values filter before it ever shows up here. If I wouldn't hand it to a friend at 3am and say "try this," it doesn't get a link.
Sometimes I'll recommend something with no affiliate relationship at all — because it works, and too many of us are struggling for me to gatekeep anything that genuinely helps.
Current Affiliate Partnerships
That's Just Peri is currently an affiliate partner with the following programs:
Bookshop.org — I earn a commission on book purchases made through my links or storefront. Bookshop.org was built specifically as an alternative to Amazon, and every purchase supports independent bookstores. This is one I'd link to even without a commission.
Winona (via Impact.com) — I earn a commission on treatment purchases made through my links. Winona is the telehealth HRT provider I personally use. I started as a patient, not a partner — the affiliate relationship came after.
thredUP (via Awin) — I earn a commission on purchases made through my links. thredUP is an online secondhand clothing marketplace. About 90% of my wardrobe comes from here, and that was true long before any affiliate arrangement.
Codeage (via Awin) — I earn a commission on purchases made through my links. I personally use Codeage supplements and only added the affiliate relationship after trialing the products.
Image Skincare (via Awin) — I earn a commission on purchases made through my links. I became obsessed with their ORMEDIC lip treatment before I ever looked into their affiliate program.
How I Choose What to Recommend
Every brand on this site goes through a vetting process before I'll link to it. I look at:
- Who owns it — is it women-founded, independently operated, or owned by a company with ethical concerns?
- Whether the science is real — are product claims evidence-based? Has the brand faced FDA enforcement or false advertising lawsuits?
- How they market to women — do they use shame, fear, or manipulation? I won't send you somewhere that makes you feel bad about your body.
- Whether it's inclusive — does the brand acknowledge that not everyone experiencing perimenopause is a cisgender woman?
- Whether I'd personally recommend it — the final test, always.
Some partnerships I've turned down because they didn't pass this filter, even when the commission would have been significant. The brands you see here are the ones that made it through.
What This Means for You
- Affiliate links cost you nothing extra — the commission comes from the brand's end, not yours.
- My recommendations are based on personal experience and genuine belief in the product, not commission rates.
- I'll always disclose when a link is an affiliate link, either in the article itself or with a note like this one.
- If I ever receive free products in exchange for coverage, I'll say so explicitly.
FTC Compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials, I disclose any material connection between That's Just Peri and the brands mentioned on this site. This includes affiliate relationships, gifted products, and sponsored content. All opinions expressed are my own.
That's it. A small site run by one woman in her pajamas, trying to make perimenopause a little less lonely — and keeping the lights on while she does it.
